Fosters Family Funeral Directors full fleet upgrade

Award winning Fosters Family Funeral Directors was founded by Tony Foster in 2005 when he opened the first funeral parlour. Today, the business is one of Scotland’s fastest-growing funeral directors and now operate 18 branches with plans to open more.

The forward-thinking company offers an exceptionally high-quality service at an affordable price and is supported by a dedicated and professional team that continually strives to improve and accommodate the family’s unique wishes. The utmost care and attention is applied to every aspect of their operation to provide families with an uplifting personalised experience that leaves a lasting and positive memory.

As a reflection of Fosters Family Funeral Directors ongoing success, the company has recently made a major investment of six Coleman Milne vehicles, comprising of two Norwood Classic hearses accompanied by four Rosedale limousines.

Coleman Milne has also supplied bespoke SureLift Removal ambulance conversions to upgrade their Ford Transit Custom and Mercedes-Benz Vito vehicles with a further two brand-new Renault Trafic SureLift Removal ambulances currently in build.

Engineered by Coleman Milne using CAD technology, the distinctive Eco Blue Norwood and Rosedale range combines space and comfort with state-of-the-art technology including satellite navigation, Bluetooth, cruise control and reversing sensors. A touch of luxury comes as standard and passengers appreciate the fine leather interior.

The Norwood Classic, with its elegant traditional styling, appeals to all tastes and benefits from large bearer seat access, a full size under deck and coffin illumination lighting. The hearse has been personalised with the addition of wreath rails, illuminated signage and integral coverboards.

With increased headroom and visibility, the Rosedale limousine is specifically built to maximise passenger comfort. Dual zone climate control, a powerful sound system and the centre bench seat with three headrests ensure a roomy and dignified drive.

Nick McLaughlin was keen to add:

“We continually invest to ensure we provide the very best in choice for all the families we serve. Based on the performance, reliability and favourable feedback of our existing Ford Dorchester and Cardinal fleet, Coleman Milne were our first choice to manufacture our upgrade.

The Norwood and Rosedale collection add an impressive and dignified presence to the ceremony and the timeless design and superior comfort has been greatly received by our families.”
