Founded in 1946 by Wilfred Albert Forsey, the Glastonbury-based firm remains a proudly independent, family-run funeral directors. Now led by Adrian Forsey and his son Samuel, they continue to serve Somerset with professionalism, tradition and care.
Forsey & Son have recently expanded their fleet with three Mercedes-Benz E-Class 214 AMG Line petrol mild hybrid hearses and two matching limousines, all finished in refined Tenorite Grey with a traditional Gold Twinpin Coachline. The hearses are equipped with full-length glass roofs, enhancing light and visibility within the deck area. Each vehicle also includes bespoke details such as a chrome coffin stop bar and Tonka-brown leather interior, all chosen to reflect the firm’s emphasis on comfort, presentation and traditional values.
This update represents a shift from their previous Ford Norwood and Rosedale Hybrid models, demonstrating a continued investment in modern efficiency while preserving the dignified standards that define their service.
