ScotMid Funerals have taken delivery of their second Coleman Milne Mercedes PHEV Fleet. The new Hearse and Limousine have replaced a pair of Mercedes diesel vehicles which were part exchanged as part of the renewal and upgrade program.
The new Hearse offers an impressive specification, including a Vogue Grey deck, illuminated signage, glass roof, wreath rails, and integral coverboards. Similarly, the Limousine boasts an impressive glass roof, adding to the comfort and elegance of the funeral procession.
This is the second significant fleet investment by ScotMid Funerals since the purchase of their first Mercedes Plug-in Hybrid fleet last year. The decision to upgrade the fleet comes as ScotMid Funerals prepares to comply with the commencement of ULEZ (Ultra Low Emission Zone) regulations in Edinburgh, scheduled to take effect in June of this year. By investing in more environmentally friendly vehicles, ScotMid Funerals reaffirms its commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.
“We are thrilled to take delivery of our new Coleman Milne vehicles,” said James Blackburn, Head of Funerals. “These vehicles not only enhance the quality of our services but also align with our values of sustainability and environmental responsibility.”
The partnership between ScotMid Funerals and Coleman Milne reflects a shared commitment to providing exceptional funeral services whilst also prioritising the environment. As ScotMid Funerals continues to evolve and adapt to meet the needs of their community, they remain dedicated to delivering dignified and compassionate care to families during their time of need.
