Coleman Milne proudly launched their eagerly anticipated new hearse and limousine range, based on the all-new Mercedes 214 E-Class, at an exclusive event attended by industry leaders and clients. This completely redesigned model has been crafted from the ground up, incorporating advanced safety features, innovative functionality, and refined styling. With significant attention to detail, the new range aims to set a higher standard for operational efficiency and safety in the funeral industry.
This new model is a culmination of four-decades of experience with Mercedes-Benz, and introduces numerous enhancements from the last model, including a full-width coffin stop bar, three-bearer seats, and improved storage with easy access. Passengers are ensured a safe and comfortable journey with 3-point lap and diagonal seatbelts for all seating positions. This design maximises space within the hearse, offering increased deck space to accommodate various funeral needs. Combining functionality with style, Coleman Milneās range delivers an impressive level of operational efficiency.
The range is available in petrol or diesel mild hybrid and petrol plug-in hybrid options, catering to evolving environmental considerations and enabling cost-efficient fuel choices. Each vehicle is whole vehicle type-approved and rigorously tested, underscoring Coleman Milne’s commitment to delivering reliability and peace of mind for their clients.
The launch event saw an enthusiastic reception from attendees, with over 50 vehicles already on order prior to the event and many more anticipated as customers experienced the models in person. The attendees had the opportunity to visit the Coleman Milne factory and see first-hand the investment that Coleman Milne has made in ensuring the highest quality and manufacturing processes. Jenny Gilbert-Trigg, President of the National Association of Funeral Directors, unveiled the vehicles alongside Guido Dumarey, Coleman Milneās owner, in a moment that highlighted the industryās excitement for this new addition to funeral fleet options.
