The Role

Hours: Monday – Thursday 7.30am-5.30pm

Main Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Daily organization of the workshop workload, ensuring all work is completed on time by ensuring efficient delegation and instruction to the workshop employees
  • Complete all necessary used vehicle ISO paperwork
  • Monitor and manage job time rates to ensure continuous improvements are being made and the team are working as efficiently as possible
  • Liaising with the After-Care team to obtain updates and instructions on Customer requirements and ensuring all customer are appropriately updated on jobs
  • Conduct final quality checks on all used vehicles prior to delivery
  • Organize, co-ordinate and schedule chargeable aftercare jobs
  • Speaking to Customers regarding quotes and estimated job times, where necessary or where the After-Care Department cannot assist
  • Follow up with customers once they have received their vehicle to ensure they are happy with everything, demonstrating an excellent level of customer service at all times
  • Dealing with any man-management issues, liaising with appropriate management when necessary
  • Conducting toolbox talks with the team
  • Enforcing all H&S regulations
  • Escalating any urgent issues to the Used Vehicles and After Sales Department Manager

Key Skills, Abilities and Experience:

  • Technical experience working on vehicles, mechanical and electrically, would be preferable
  • Experience working independently, and to be supportive within a wider team
  • Experience of working in a busy team and managing multiple workloads with changing priorities
  • Good communicator both verbally and written
  • Good man-management skills
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, right-first-time attitude
